I remember feeding my first daughter in holland, 10 years ago when I was 20. I had just moved here and in the UK it was normal to feed for longer but here people even moved tables (was in V&D) at the time ?! Around the time I had my third and fourth I joined a breastfeeding group on Facebook and honestly seen so many women that fed for longer ??. I must admit my partner and his family thought I was crazy feeding for so long and said it looked ridiculous ? I was gobsmacked and so emotional especially when I had left all my family to move here! I wanted support not there stupid opinion.
I got over it and told them it was my daughter and I would feed her till the time was right to stop. Let what others say go in one ear and out the other. Your doing what is best for your child ❤️. Oh I hope you can put working night shifts off for a while longer! Here my partner never even woke in the night, nothing wakes him ?! Do you have insta? X
13 months is still young.. although i am amazed by how many think its very old to still breastfeed. I try not to care about what others say^^ i do have some time till he is 2 but in my work i have to do nightshifts, i hope i can put that on a hold for a couple months more. My husband would go crazy if he has to do the night with my youngest.
