“Het is alweer even geleden dat ik wat van mij heb laten horen. Maar we zijn het jaar 2026 gestart met allemaal nieuwe dingen. Nieuwe school en nog meer onderzoeken door middel van een observatiegroep. Ik weet oprecht niet wie dit spannender vond onze zoon of ik. De eerste week met nieuwe dingen is voorbij en ik kan oprecht zeggen, was dit allemaal maar eerder gebeurd. We hebben weer een zoon terug die zichzelf is, en dit ook niet meer onder banken of stoelen stopt. Wat is hij weer vrolijk en energiek.

De eerste week zat er bijna op nog 1 dagje school te gaan op vrijdag. Het was bijna bedtijd dus hups pyjama’s aan en tandenpoetsen. Boven stuiterde een vrolijk mannetje heen en weer. Dit hadden wij lange tijd niet meer gezien. Mijn man vraagt aan hem “vind je het leuk op je nieuwe school? Je bent zo ontzettend vrolijk!” Waarop onze zoon antwoord “Jaa! Hier worden ze niet boos en begrijpen ze mij!” Ik was op dat moment nog beneden wat aan het doen, maar oef mijn moeder hart brak en een traantje biggelde over mijn wang. De eerste vraag die naar boven kwam was, waarom kon dit niet eerder?
Gisteren was de eerste keer met de taxi naar school, een kleine weerstand ‘s morgens vroeg maar ik had ook niet anders verwacht! Zo veel nieuwe dingen in twee weken tijd. Maar hé wat zijn wij apentrots op ons mannetje die dit toch maar even doet allemaal!”
